The basic facts:
I’m Jennifer. A mother of two spectacular children. Wife to Michael of 25 years. 46 years old. With some friends I started a fabulous little leadership consultancy (cultivatingleadership.com). Wrote a couple of books.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2014. Stage ii. 3cm tumour with 10 cm DCIS. ER/PR+. Mastectomy. Chemotherapy. And then onward.
In July 2016 I found a little lump on the reconstructed breast. I had a biopsy in August–all good–but I had it removed anyway. Tiny little lump–6mm–but suspicious and in the muscle in front of the implant. That biopsy is not so good. Cancer.
Four surgeries to get it all out. More DCIS. One more tiny surprise tumour. Lots of uncertainty.
Next: Radiotherapy. Menopause.
And?
A move to London. And?
